- Shane 52 and Cindy Thackeray 48.
- Shane was born in the USA and Cindy was born in the UK.
- Both of us are real Aussies having lived here for the better part of 35 years.
- Shane has been in the construction industry,
waterproofing and sealant as a contractor for 32 years.
- Cindy hails from the retail industry. Hence the concept of Applaseal
was conceived.
- Both Shane and Cindy are dedicated marital artists (Shotokan Karate), Cindy having just recently attaining the
rank of Ni-Dan 2nd dan.
- Hard work and dedication training three nights a week for Last 7 years.
- Shane holds the rank of Sandan
3rd dan.
- We both enjoy the great Aussie outdoors, camping hiking, four wheel driving, exploring the wonders of nature that our
awesome state of Queensland has to offer.

- When we are relaxing Cindy can be found in the garden with the family nearby the five
dogs and all the parrots that are caged and in the rain forest gardens.
- Shane will either be serenading Cindy with either an
electric guitar or one of his favourite acoustics, a passion he has had since being taught to play back in 1970 by a Mauri guitarist
who was touring the Playboy clubs up and down the Eastern coast of the US.
